Something I've been working on for the past two days. Mostly just experimenting with procedural textures, no bitmap textures whatsoever in it. I might make some more.

with all the talk about catacombs and undead lairs in the upcoming DF update, I decided to post these panels of the winding tunnels beneath a goblin fortress.. with stranger creatures lurking in the depths below.

That looks pretty cool, especially the thing (goblin?) down below surrounded by the skulls of other things.


Oh, but you forgot two goblins fistfighting, and another dragging a corpse of a fellow goblin off.

I remember in the draw-your-adventure thread there was a kobold warrior who resembled the cloaked figures in Fault's undertunnels. Maybe they are kobolds who have hid their appearance and sneaked into the base of the dark tower to steal the goblins' treasure?

you mean Ninja's Kobolds aka the Adventuring kind that look more humanoid than the other kobolds even Fault's version.
sadly Fault kobolds are between the Cutebold and the normal versions with the puppy dog eyes and the reptile skin.
