I know I've uploaded a rendition of a troll before, but what with troll fur making up part of the .19 release I wanted to make a troll that was furrier. This is, I think, what a troll is supposed to look like. It also has a pleasing vaguely T shape, which is a bonus. It is, if anything, still not furry enough though.

I get the impression that is somehow an allusion to Animiacs, but it was too long ago to remember and I certainly don't have the werewithal to look it up.

Yea, the original reference is a classic Bugs Bunny / Daffy Duck cartoon.  Though it is itself a nod to Of Mice and Men.

There's even an entire trope page related to it.  :D

I decided to illustrate what most of my military dwarves must look like. The following is one of the speardwarves in my fort, armed and armoured to the hilt, six cloaks/hoods and all. I wanted to make sure that I got all the details right, so I added one layer at a time. I sprayed over a LOT of detail, to make sure everything was bulked out in all the right places.

I'm really happy with this, it's the best piece of fan art I think I've come up with so far.

I like that one, Buttery_Mess. He's one intense looking speardwarf. The battered and scarred shield is a nice touch too.
