WELL OKAY, thanks I guess?

you are talking about the blood man pic right? It's kinda hard to interpret your intent from what you quoted.

Awesome, looks like something you'd see in a Silent Hill game.
Yeah, it's really good art. They are lucky to show their art in that fan art competition. That they could show their excellent art, and hoping that they could win from the contest.  :D

This looks botted, I can tell from some of the phrases and from having seen quite a few spambots in my time.

what's the purpose though? It's not like it's trying to sell anything, or whatever

and since when were there bots on Bay12games?

Indeed what is the purpose...
I've seen others like this, they show up and reply to a single topic with only a mysterious and vaguely relevant message.

Also google his user name if you doubt me...

nah, some forums restrict posting links to members with atleast a few posts, perhaps it's trying to look like an active and participative member of the community so that it can spam our ass later.
or it might have been a bot that gained sentiency and a consciousness and is trying very hard not to be a spammer.

I posit that it is in fact outsider art.

We see the mysterious otherartist is fulfilling the role of the watcher and the watched, playing with our expectations as artists and avid consumers of digital content. As the artist says, "it's really good art."

Their art - whose - in that fan art competition? The they is projected outwards, onto the other, and the drones of the internet seem to hover closer with every word. Look at those lines of space! Look at the boundaries of the text and the whimsical flatness of tone!

This is interactive art as fully noninteractive, a nonpresence, a social critique on space and what it truly means to have your work criticised by the faceless robots of the internet.

I am hoping that they could win from the contest.

i googled it, and if it is a bot it seems fairly non spammy, it even keeps ontopic, and edits posts!!

You foolish humans with all your hopes and dreams, did you really think you could win from the contest?

nope, he has registered in a lot of forums in the last 3 days, made one post in each, vaguely mentioning the topic of the threads he posted in and some generic words mentioned in the threads, still he never added nothing to the discussion...just made perfect examples of *generic posts*, with the grammar errors working in his favor, as nobody would expect much from someone who fail2english so hard
i find it fascinating, it's like a kind of morbid robot sitting at a café table or a park bench, pretending to be alive and enjoying his afternoon....who released this poor creature upon the internets? what is the meaning of his life?
