the left crown was supposed to look like sharp chains or barbed wire wrapped around his head
kinda resembles a crown of thorns, I guess.

A little bit of DF crept into my comic yesterday.



The original script was written weeks ago and it was just a random dwarf selling something strange.  Then I played DF and it turned into a statue of a carp.

I don't expect DF to come up much in my strip in the future.  Then again, I'm tempted to create another gag strip called Dwarf Life just to relate all the fun I'm having.

If you have the chance/inclination, draw me some stout dwarven magmanauts about to descend into the depths of a magma tube in their cast-obsidian and brasswork diving bell.
To boldly go where no dwarf has gone before without having all their fat horribly melted off.

Actually it is kinda epic.

I can imagine that the Forgotten Beast was like "Ha ha!  Looks like it's delicious pony time for me!"
And then the pony was like "No.  Now is serious kicking time."
And then the Forgotten Beast was like "WTF!! NOOOOooooooo.....  "
