I always pictured them like diminutive super-deformed rodents, bumbling around and gnawing on your food supplies.

also, considering their biology consists of hair, skin, and fat, it makes more sense that they'd be an uncomplicated, blob-like creature rather than a form that would require skeletal support.

examining the raws, pudge is purple fat that also functions as muscle and nerve tissue. Their bodies only contain pudge... no other organs. Which leaves me to ask:

when fluffy wamblers gnaw on food, where does it go?!?

It doesn't say it's a pudge-being, only that it's 'filled' with pudge. It may have other organs, but they all must share space with the pudge.

The way I picture cave fish is inspired by this passage from THE HOBBIT:

Of course, seeing as how in the raws they actually have NO EYES (which makes sense scientifically, but is less evocative in a fantasy world...) my picture is COMPLETELY innacurate.
