read Josh's short story, the demon-mecha is supposed to be made of adamantium. But I didn't think a BRIGHT CYAN devil machine would look that menacing, so I blackened it.

I had to look back and make sure it had that many faces.. I was like "Oh yeah, I forgot about those ones"

I never thought my little story would inspire so much awesome.

Just for reference: Apollyon is a bastardization of the word "Abaddon" which means "The Destroyer".

Mph. This means I probably have to draw them fighting now.
That'll take ages to colour, let alone sort out a sutiable background...

I'm also thinking of other forms of Dwarven lagann to draw...
(already drawn forms in bold)
Dwarven Lagann: Lagann with a beard and a mining pick
Dwarven Gurren: A Bronze colossus modified with a cockpit
Dwarven Gurren Lagann: Said lagann jacked into said bronze colossus
Arc-Dwarven Lagann: Aformentioned mechs combined with an entire fortress
Chouchinga Dwarven Lagann: Aformentioned Mechs combined with an entire MOUNTAIN
Tengen Toppa Dwarven Lagann: I dunno, some kinda giant beard made of fire and galaxies...

The bright cyan metal used in Dwarf Fortress is ADAMANTINE, the silvery mithril-like metal used in mythos of various games, comics, and literary sources is ADAMANTIUM. Personally I think your bright cyan wargolem would look awesome and I hereby mandate the construction of a ☼Adamantine War Golem☼

As Adamantine\Adamantium is a made up substance based on the word 'Adamant' meaning 'Too hard to cut, break or pierce' there is no accord on what it actually is.

In Dwarf Fortress it's a light teal coloured metal that is incredibly light that is approximatey 6 times 'better' than Iron that can only be found around mysterious glowing pits that serve as portals for horrific Demons to emerge.

In the Marvel universe, it's a silvery metal that is completely indestructable by all known means that was made accidentally by some dude and is used here and there for important things like Superhero's equipment (and in one case, skeleton).

goddamn suffixes.

That is pretty damn epic.

YO, MITTENS
would you mind if I wrote a short story on the forming of the space colossus king cacame?
I mean, Cacame is like, your intellectual property or whatever, so if you don't want me to, that's fine.

He's arguing that "Adamantine" and "Adamantium" are two different things. Which is rediculous, it's just a different metallic suffic attached to Adamant.

-ine suffix = used for non-metals
-ium suffix = used for metals

HRRMMMMM.

it gets even more complicated if you factor in things like  adamantane...
