Given that the surrounding rock is a dark color, more likely olivine, which CAN contain platnium, soo.....

When you look at that, it suddenly makes sense why engravers take so long to detail walls.
Look at the amount of stone you'd have to remove to make those walls smooth and even.

Very nice art, though. I wish I could draw rocks like that. The colors are delightful.

Shade-o, smjjames; I was imagining that it was just moss, heh.  Malachite would be shinier, and I don't know what olivine even looks like.  Olives, probably.

Ironhand; thanks, and yeah, even worse than smoothing the stone would be sleeping in the mud.  No wonder they get unhappy thoughts.
