Sad what 19th-century Europe did to that, really, in popular culture.  I much prefer the djinni of smokeless fire to Robin Williams popping out of a lamp.

To be fair, Robin Williams was an awesome Genie.

I still have trouble believing that Jesus's mother would be a virgin afterwords.
God did it her.

PPPS: Apologies to those who want to end the current derail. I'll make some ASCII art for a ASCII game.

Not mine but maybe it will get the topic back on track.

In my mind, Dwarven Kings are wise, respectable warrior types.
So it might be a stretch to call this one fan art. :P

In my mind, Dwarven Kings are pompous, narcissistic noble types.
So it might be a stretch to call this one fan art. :P

Kings don't make mandates though do they? So apart from their rediculous room requirements (which are usually served rather well with the adamantine you accidentally struck, if you get them via the more normal method then you should have enough masterworks around to make a decent room) they're alright.

Smitehappy, that may be the most awesome depiction of HFS yet to grace this thread.

It's definetly something to look forward to if we ever get full 3d graphic  :D

IMO, that could as easily be a depiction of the Balrog from Lord of the Rings (assuming your ideas of it hadn't been affected by the movie). But same goes for a lot of things.

Found some more by the same artist, Derk Venneman, if anyone is interested.

I just checked my barracks.
There was the dungeon master. Naked, with vomit and blood all over him, as usual. But with a barrel, which was also in his inventory. What the hell?
It was sewer brew, which must be a very bad drink, I assume.
This inspired me to scribble the situation (only took 1 minute, please don't mind the quality):

Seriously. Running naked through my fort, carrying his alcohol with him and drinking whenever and wherever he wants. (And drinking what no one wants, as it seems)
I knew he was crazy, but this crazy?

Cloak and mittens and nothing else is standard DM attire. Sometimes shoes, or at least socks.
