Did you just post a bunch of vegi-dicks on my board?  I've been trying to combat forum devolution a bit, and that involves fewer vegi-dicks!

"Dwarfdolf the Short desperatly tries to defend the world from the evil spawns of hell..."

Tee hee... Using the word 'spawn' in relation to fish...

Actually, the spawns are the demons, not the world-devouring carp.
But you could see it that way too.

Some pencil sketchin.  I don't know what kind of insane fort would give a dwarf a sword without at least some chain and a shield, but there you go.

That's the best one yet, Jo! All dwarves should have beefy noses and bushy eyebrows.

This thread is moving faster now. Keep it up!

Sorry for the poor quality; I didn't realize Photobucket would require me to shrink it so much.

I need a scanner; my analog stuff is much better than my digital still.  =(

im constantly amazed at how digital (i assume youre using a tablet of some sort) can so vividly recreate the feel of ink on paper, or oil, or watercolor.

i had a digital(well, it was probably actually analog) tablet (called them easles back then) for an atari 800 (actually a 400 upgraded to 8K of ram.  hold ont o your pants) back in the mid 80s.

suffice to say that the technology just wasnt there yet. of course even with modern technology i couldnt draw that well.

Yeah, I'm using Corel Painter, which I guess was designed to emulate traditional media.  It's a pretty amazing program; much more intuitive than Photoshop, too, even if it lacks some of the custom brush options.

Thanks for the compliment. =)

Holy carp, Balathustrius, that's very impressive.

As for having to resize it, try saving it as .png instead of .jpg. For black and white pictures .png is vastly superior because it has better quality (no compression, which means no loss) and much much smaller file size, and most image hosting sites limit images by file size, not dimensions in pixels.

try Image Shack

They only have file size, not dimension limits.
