I believe that would be one of those menacing spikes. And I agree that it looks great. It's style reminds me of those 3-panel newspaper comics.

Yeah it's meant to be a bone spike. The star on the helmets a dint mark done with three curved lines.

It's the result of settling in a savanna shrubland.

Kalimar, I would swear I recognize that particular resolution and style... was that by any chance made with the lovely Colors! homebrew program for the DS?

Just a blank palette in Photoshop with its brushes and 10 minutes of time.

My little brother made it.
He was inspired by this.

That's great, even the dwarf has a menacing spike coming out of his head, as opposed to one going into his head.  This must mean he is not a noble.

I like it, but the side view of the beard looks weird to me.

Keepin' the thread alive!

I was sketching a bunch of faces and this poor sap interested me enough to get a body.  I figure this guy is the soapmaker who gets a bajillion hammerstrikes when the crystal glass mandate goes unfulfilled on the map with no sand.  Or maybe he's the unskilled peasant who gets handed a pick and told to go carve out all that warm stone.  Perhaps he's the schmuck who wanders into a dozen goblin bowman while trekking across the map to pick up the firefly corpse one of the damn cats killed.

Hi!

Sorry about this somewhat OT post, but I wanted to reply to two comments on the pic I linked to.

LordNagash: What do you mean, "package"? I really don't understand what you could be referring to (I only know "package" as in cargo, backpacks, and so on). I am blindly guessing there, but do you mean male genitals with that term? If so, then I can only say that this is not an intended effect. She is to be completely female only, no male influences whatsoever.

Penguinofhonor: You do know that life is full of disappointments, don't you? I don't think we would do this thread a favor if we discussed the details of this issue here.

Not real legos. I used the Lego Factory program. The cool thing about it is, once you've finished building your model, you can actually upload and purchase it online and the program creates building instructions on-the-fly. This would cost $12.65

OH NO! Bronze Colossus!

And this would be $19.30

Bumping for awesome Legos.  I'm rather tempted to try buying one of those.

Oh, right. It is the Cautionsaurus. Doesn't matter though, because it is a dinosaur. And dinosaurs still eat people.
