- small notes:

1) Only furnace workshops require an architect (not hauler) to bring materials, others are immediatelly constructed by the relevant labour.

After designating a building to be built, hover over it with 'q'  and it will tell you what labours you need for next step.

2) You don't need to save macro to play it. It will always play last recorded or loaded macro.

A thought springs to mind, reading all those years-past succession forts:

The pictures disappear, the files are gone.

When the thread is done, I suggest downloading the webpages with images included and then uploading it to dffd with link to the depot in first post as well as using waybackmachine link record on it.

Because if dffd is down, bay12 is likely too.

I remember one annoying part as newbie was reading the whole menus to find out the  shortcut and option I want.

“How to Build Items in the Carpenter’s Workshop”

mentions moving cursor over to Mason's workshop.

The images are in my local only after I upload to imgur.

My Google docs only have the copy of what I posted here in bay12, so only links to the images.

I'll play around with Open Office create the posts as a PDF document and upload to dffd, so there is only 1 file per chapter.

Are you removing the stockpiles over the stairs for hatches later, or because of falling combat?

It might be worth mentiong the zone method of gathering plants as well, not sure how it compares exp-wise though.

Orthoclase is nice yellow stone, it is a shame most stone is gray.

The reason I remove the stockpile over stairs is because it irritatingly blink toggle displaying stairs and stockpile/item.

p.s. Oh, and I have plans for the above ground area later.
