((Reading other player's pages is a good way to accidentally spoil oneself :P

Like, that Oracle curse was a genuine surprise for me.))

((Most of the time, I don't read other player's backstories and such, but knowing who's the strongest in the party usually helps.

It is also hilarious when you try to do it in game because you forget and you judge the mage who has a 6 to strength to be the strongest because you rolled a 1 to discern it (when you're the strongest, sadly)))

((It's funny, because in a standard fantasy plotline where the PCs become famous heroes, just about none of these WANT to be famous, for various reasons.))

Kal endeavours to show no emotion.

((Kal would like to be a hero, but not like this, and not in something this small :P))

Etoile blueshes slightly as he is introduced, however he still does his best to avoid the gazes of his comrades. Nobody ever listens to him. Maybe he can sneak away during the night eventually. If they decide to pursue him they'll probably forget about him during it.

((*roll* Bluff 1d20 + 1 vs Sense Motive 1d20 + 6 : 7 vs 24))

Etoile fails to keep his emotions and thoughts off his face entirely, and feels an uncomfortable stare burning a hole into his features. He turns his gaze downward to where Zeratuu has her arms crossed. Her reptilian features are hard to read, but the slowly lashing tail, tapping foot and long-suffering attitude trigger a flash of memory from his childhood. She knows.

As the leadership of the town returns to leading and directing the townspeople, the short celebration dies down around them, though they're given appreciative words and glances by those going about their business. While Etoile contemplates slinking off and Zeratuu dogs his every movement, a beautiful woman approaches the group, dressed in fancy but practical clothing, a rapier swinging at her hip and a few scrapes and nicks marring her face, arms and hands.

"Well now, it's getting late and it looks like everything is well in hand. I'm Ameiko, the owner of the Rusty Dragon. I wanted to thank you for keeping one of my best paying patrons alive today. If you want a place to sleep, the best rooms are yours for a week. Think of it as a small 'thank you' for your heroism today."

((Etoile knows the Rusty Dragon as one of the best inns in the city. The White Deer is probably better, but Amieko is known as a better hostess, and the entertainment is far better at the Rusty Dragon.))

And I suppose having 'heroes' at your inn would grant you some custom.
He shakes his head as if at his own cynicism.
Nevermind. Thank you for your kindness; I would be glad to accept, at least until I find an associate of my master's.

Ameiko smiles and winks at him. "Why, that didn't cross my mind at all. The fame is fleeting, but I used to be an adventurer myself, and I make sure that my inn is the best home away from home other adventurers could wish for."

Steven tips his hat at the woman

"I appreciate your hospitality. Could you direct me to where your inn it? I could make do with a good drink and a nice seat right about now."

Ameiko efficiently describes the route to the Rusty Dragon, down towards the harbor and then along Market Street towards the southern gate. You realize this is the same inn that the nobleman from earlier was describing, probably her valued patron.
