((If that's fine...))
Move to the top right of the debris at the north and fire

((There's a small climb DC check to scramble onto the wagon. the wagon is partially filled, which is why it counts as difficult terrain. Luckily, your movement is enough to get to the square you targeted.))

((*roll* Climb 1d20 + 2 vs DC 5 : 10))

((*roll* 1d20 + 6 vs Touch AC : 24 Hit!
*roll* Damage 1d8 : 5))

Steven nimbly bounds onto the wagon and picks his way over the produce still half-filling it. Taking aim, he fires at the goblin, striking it in the side and causing it to stagger, badly wounded.

Zeratuu

Seeing her chance, Zeratuu darts behind the goblin, twisting to avoid its swing as it targets her

((*roll* AoO 1d20 + ? vs AC 16 : 10 Miss))

Trapping the goblin between herself and Master Etoile, she bares her fangs and bites for the back of its neck

((*roll* 1d20 + 5 vs Flat Footed AC : 7 Miss))

However, her teeth snap at nothing as it ducks and bobs frantically

Etoile strikes at the fiend with all his might.

((*roll* 1d20 + 2 vs Flat-Footed AC : 18 Hit!
*roll* Damage 1d8 + 2 : 5))

Distracted by the scaled monster at its back trying to bite its neck, the goblin attention is distracted for a fatal instant. With a final crunch, Etoile's morning star crushes its skull, sending the goblin twitching to the ground.

((Congatulations on your first victory! Everyone gains 108 XP for the combat. In addition, everyone gains 100 XP for the events of the festival leading up to now. Total XP Gain: 208))

With the first wave of goblins dispatched, the group find themselves in an eye of calm, despite the swirling chaos around them. Much of the fighting has left the square as goblins pursue panicked civilians, though the corpses of goblins scattered throughout the square suggests that despite their initial shock and panic, the residents of the town aren't completely helpless.

As Etoile watches in horror at the mangled skull he had crushed just a moment before, the green color that had permeated throughout his face on and off the entire day finally reaches its apex. He bends over for a moment and empties the contents of his stomach while clutching at it.. When he finally stands back up he feels so much better, the body being happy to have done everything in its power to help.

Only, now he notices his surroundings and the many corpses. Some residue bile creeps up his throat and again he turns to the side for a few dry heaves.

((I can just hear Etoile's stomach yelling in the background "I'm helping!" :P))

Zeratuu cocked her head curiously as Master Etoile bent over his kill. Was he praying or offering thanks for his victory? She was answered quickly as he vomited, and she darted away, nose wrinkled in disgust at the smell. Combined with the taste of burnt goblin in her mouth and she had to fight down bile herself. Instead she busies herself keeping a wary eye on the golem that had jumped into the fight on their side.

Steven reloads and takes a drag of his cigarette as his eyes beam at the construct.

"You helped us, but I don't fully yet trust you, construct. One false move, and I'll have you taste lead firsthand. "

Steven keeps his gun out and keeps an eye out for people struggling or those thugs who would take advantage of the attack

Aloisturm examined the weapon the human pointed at it, unmoved. It had never seen a weapon quite like that, but it was not concerned despite the smoke and noise it produced. The sight of the other man vomiting was even less impressive.

"Cease your bluster, meatbag. The Enemy is about and your weapons will be better used to destroy them."

"Alright, 'rusty'. Keep your hammer on the goblins and away from us and there won't be any trouble from me."

Steven turns to the others, gun still at the ready.

"How are the rest of you holding up?"

He repeats this in dwarven but changed to speak only to the kobold

Having his stomach steeled itself, Etoile keeps a grimace on his face.

"We need to help everybody. We can't let those goblins run wild."

The construct would have rolled its eyes if it had any. Since it did not, it merely stared at the fleshy people.

"Helping everybody is statistically unlikely. However, stopping the Enemy from causing more damage than necessary is an acceptable goal." Aloisturm hefted its hammer and slung the weapon over its shoulder, carrying the weight with ease. "I am not currently optimized for battle, but there is no time for proper preparations. Let us quickly find the next group of Enemies and dispatch them."

"Rusty is right. Patch yourselves up if you're hurt and follow the sounds of screaming."

He tosses away his cigarette and lights another one as he mutters under his breath in elven.

"Why do you call me 'Rusty'?" the construct asked, sounding curious.

The construct considered the response. It was logical enough.

"Very well."
