The walk over is quiet, the residents of this street obviously all attending the festival. The brooding ruins of the Old Light rise up over the street, and the only sounds to be heard are the muted sounds of merriment and music from the continuing festival, and the squawking of seagulls.

When Kal reaches the edge of the cliff behind Quink's place, the ocean spreads out in a blue swath in front of him, and leaning forward he can see where it foams white, pounding against the cliff below. Taking the collar, he clicks it back together into a circular whole, before rearing back and throwing it as hard as he can out into the ocean.

((*roll* Strength 1d20 - 1 : 8 ))

As swiftly as that, it was done. Kal guesses he managed to clear 40' or so before it splashes into the waves below and disappears from sight. Whether or not it finds its way further down the coast, it's long gone from there.

As he makes his way back towards Volioker's house, he notices movement on the opposite side of the street - the golem he had seen sparring with the martial arts master. Its helmeted head turns back and forth in slow sweeps as it walks.

Kal looks with curiosity at the large form, wondering once more on what it could be, then shakes his head and returns to the Locksmith's.

((Do you guys want to talk some more, head out straight away, or wait until the ceremony has drawn everyone' attention and then head out, or other?))

((I was trying to leave it open ended - you can continue looking, or you can follow that suspicious person on the other side of the street and stumble across your targets. Either way, you'll be able to join the party properly soon, either now or when they leave.))

Aloisturm took note of the creature across the street, if only because the area was mostly deserted; the vast majority of meatbags living in this area were currently off ingesting copious amounts of food and alcohol at the festival. He appeared to be a bit on the squishy side, not at all gang tough-guy material, so logic indicated that he was not an ally to the trio of hoodlums from before...unless they were considerably better-connected than they appeared at first impression.

The construct cautioned itself that it had no knowledge of the local politics and that uncertainty going forward was almost guaranteed. Still, the man had an aura of competence around him that the vast majority of meatbags lacked. Either he was connected with gang, or he was part of what made the gang flee in the first place. Or, of course, it could be something else entirely, something it had no data on. In either case, he might know something about whatever was going on with scaly things tonight.

Aloisturm began to follow the man.

Following the man back, Aloisturm takes note of the building he enters. Walking closer, the surprisingly stealthy construct hears several voices within, talking in Common and another language it does not recognize.

Aloisturm can risk looking through the windows to sight the target, but risks being detected itself.

Looking through the window would be a bad idea. Hard to feign disinterest with such an overt show of interest.

It had the physical appearance of the man who had gone inside committed to memory, and it knew it was looking for a "scaly thing". That should be sufficient to watch for. The construct attempted to find an out-of-the-way place to observe the building.

((Good thing. I probably would have shot you if you looked in the building.

I guess this is where we time skip a bit?))
