He lights another cigarette and keeps a hand at the ready for a quick draw

Aloisturm decides to try and grab the smith's attention. It drops its bag full of gold on the countertop.

The steady beat of the smith's hammer doesn't change. Working at his forge, he seems calmer and more focused then he did at the festival. "Unless yer planning to buy a crooked horse shoe, you'll have to wait. 'Strike while the iron is hot' means more to a smith."

He works deftly, and in only a minute the horseshoe is shaped and back in the coals to return to smithing heat. That done, he puts the hammer down and turns... and then his face sours. "Oh, it's you. Whaddya want?"

Etoile, Steven and Zeratuu

The taller members of the group are startled out of their discussion as the door swings open, revealing an old man in impeccably neat robes. He has thick, short-cut hair and a snowy beard, trimmed closely along his jaw and the moustaches growing long. He wears glasses, and his brown eyes glint behind them. He has a pipe in his mouth, and puffs at it gently as he glances over the people arguing on his doorstep.

"Yes, can I help you?" he says gently, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

((So apparently MythWeavers suffered massive data loss, and the last working backup is months ago. I'll see in my tomorrow how that affects us. Luckily, being a board game, we can recreate XP totals, items and such.))

I...suppose that what I truly want to know, no one can solve except for myself. But...as you seem so knowledgeable, have you heard of any sorcerers like me nearby? My family is extensive, and I'd like to avoid them as much as possible. Any knowledge you may have of hereditary     mental unease    would be appreciated.

((Fuckity fuck. Aloisturm's sheet is almost entirely wiped and I have no backups. I have its name, race, alignment...and that's about it. Everything else is gone.

I'll do my best to recreate it during the week and the weekend but this is pretty bad.))

((Don't sweat it, for people who need to rebuild their sheets. If you want, and this goes to Apiks, who did use a google doc , feel free to take this moment to rebuild your character, if there are things/decisions that you were saying 'I could have done that better'.

Checking, but in my case I'm going to have to reroll Zeratuu's stats and assign her skills again. I know from what notes I had what her initial feats were, at least.))

((I'm pretty happy with what I got for Etoile though. Only thing I'd really change is my Planes knowledge being moved to History.))

((Off the top of my head I can probably recreate STR, DEX, CON, and INT as they were, based on various rolls. WIS and CHA will be tougher since I don't think they ever came up in what we've done so far. They may need to be re-rolled, but that's a last resort option as they may turn out much better or worse than whatever they actually were.

I'm almost positive that my feat was Power Attack.

Gold and experience are going to be the most tedious bits. Unless Hanzoku kept a running tally somewhere other than Mythweavers, that is.))

Aloisturm - 152g
Kal - 20g, unidentified potion

Oh, and Apiks, you're behind on updating your XP value. I was checking there to see if I was missing anything. ))

((I updated the XP on my sheet. Haven't changed anything in regards to moving Knowledge Planes to Knowledge History.

This loss would've been a greater hit if we were hundreds of pages in, I reckon.))
