So, I recently got an idea stuck in my head for a God Game. One slight thing I noticed in several god games is that the gods get power from mortals, but that is the only way mortals affect their gods. Suffice to say, I wouldn't have brought this up if what I had to say wasn't relevant and I'll flat out say it. The belief of mortals will be affecting you heavily.
How so, you may be asking? Well, for example, you will not be selecting your appearance. Instead, the initial group will be amorphous blobs as it were that get a form when they either create a race, wherein they get the appearance of that race, or they gain an appearnce after interecting with gods that hold an appearance for a long enough period of time. Furthermore, you appearance will shift slightly every act you utilize, determined by rolling in the metamorphica. Don't worry, it won't happen every time, as a resistance to appearance change will slowly build up with each act you perform, eventually reaching a point where you no longer change appearance further.
As well, pantheons will not be formed by the actions of the Gods, but by belief of the mortals based upon level of interaction. For one that refuses to interact with others, a monotheistic religion will start to develop around it. For cases where two or more frequently wage wars against each other, a pantheon of them will develop, divided along the lines of the wars. Again, resistances to incorporating new ones will slowly develop, but we will also have heresies start to crop up. Some of these heresies or the regular pantheons may spur the creation of new gods who believe themselves to be the descendants of other gods, despite what the others might remember. On a final note, if two gods share a sphere, then the shared spheres will start to change until they become similar to the original sphere, but different from what the other god has.
And as one final note, you will not be entering into a blank universe. Instead, you will be entering into a long universe that has long since degraded into holding no sentient life anymore, with scars of old battles possibly floating around. If discovered, some might spur the creation of new gods that were believed to have caused them, the new gods having the memory of doing so, despite those new gods having not actually caused them.
And one final note. If all followers are lost, then the god dies out. This will be the only way to truly kill a god in this game, rather than only knocking them down a peg like combat will do, though there may be some exceptions. An apocalypse scale event has a chance to do it as well.

Mighty Acts
Mighty Acts are used for things in the league of the creation of massive godly artifacts and the manipulation of things on a continental scale. Performing a Mighty Act reduces your apperance change resistance check roll by 3, but raises it by 2 in the aftermath.
Acts
Acts are used for things in the league of the creation of a race, creation of powerful godly artifacts, and modification of a region. Five Acts can be exchanged for one Mighty Act and vice versa. Performing an Act increases your appearance change resistance by 1 in the aftermath. Each of the initial set of gods will start with one of these, for the purpose of creating a race/civilization.
Minor Acts
Minor Acts are used for things in the league of granting knowledge to a race, creation of minor godly artifacts, and minor modifications of a species. Three Minor Acts can be exchanged for one Act and vice versa. Performing a Minor Act increases apperance change resistance check roll by 3.
Now that all of that is taken in, is anyone interested?
