Talk with more experienced students about their Illusions classes

Look into more types of potions.
Ask the charms teacher if they could help train me to do more advanced charms.

You learn there are a lot of potion types. Explosives, Healing potions, Poisons, Performance enhancers, The list goes on and on. you do notice one interesting fact though.(PM)
the charms teacher makes an effort, but the more powerful spells' energy slips from your grasp. You do get some useful information though(PM)
Learn an illusion spell to create bright light.
Study a curse spell with a longer incantation.

illusion spells don't really create light. There is a useful charm that does that though(PM)
you learn the curse spell with the longest incantation ever!(PM)
you get faster and have more stamina.
Ask a teacher if I can go outside the school for training.

(student trading area? is that a typo for training? if not, please tell me, i don't want to mess up your actions.)
you can, as long as you stay in the grounds.
Give Charm classes a shot

you learn a simple levitate spell(PM)

Yeah, its trading. Its a magic school, so I assumed there would be a shop of some sort to buy ingredients/information and potion recipes. Stuff like that. If there isnt, just tell me and I will change my action. (I phrased it quite badly, sorry.)

There isn't, You would need Gyiffn Sidewalk for that.

Oh wow. Impractical spell of superior darkness gained. I think I'll need some extreme time slowing to use that in a duel :v

So. Completely unrelated. The tap motion. Does that involve touching something with a wand?

You don't modify incantations with words. You modify them with forces and wand motions.

you find a dueling club, run by Silroy Keyhart.
Look for a place to brew explosive potions.
Try to find a new potion recipe.

the potion lab will do well for that!

Huh. That is unexpected after my extra-long curse. I was hoping to get something like protego maxima. Only less, because we probably can't cast that yet.

Learn a fireball spell.
Practice dodging by getting someone to cast harmless spells at me.
