The first to attack is the maimed bird-creature, and with frustrating quickness it makes another move -- firing a pair of Agis at Aoi and Mijimeki faster than the two can really react, both of which make almost casual contact. The first Agi sears poor Aoi even further, and the girl is left practically swaying on her feet... though she is still standing. (32 damage!) The one lofted at Mijimeki practically explodes against the gangly boy, and when the smoke clears he's on the ground, though he's plenty conscious. (35 damage -- the already staggered Mijimeki is knocked down!)

Aoi may be burned severely, but she's still on her feet, and that means she can attack. And attack she most certainly does, trudging up to the thing, sprinting to it ... and hooking her hand around what poses for its throat, releasing a Bufu boosted by its weakness and her Tarukaja, even with the occasional faltering step in her charge. And it lets out a horrible strangled CcccCAW as the icy energy is released into it, stepping backwards, slipping, almost but not quite knocked down. (Respectable damage dealt, the Raven is staggered!)

In the slight reprieve Aoi's taking the fight to it grants, Mijimeki claws at the ground and pulls himself up back into a standing position, while Kanade provides some much needed healing for the girl currently clotheslining a horrible inky birdmonster with ice, healing 58 HP!

In another room, a grey figure, its arms much stronger than its bad leg, hoists itself through the window it has been hanging out of for the past couple of minutes, and takes a moment to steady itself before heading towards the doorway.

If possible, Faust suddenly releases and then catches it in a chokeslam, turning the ground into a bed of ice or something during the slam.

Otherwise if Faust can levitate or something, just levitate and accelerate forwards, continuing the clotheline and slamming it neck-first against a wall while discharging the ice.

Otherwise, it just jumps, and discharges more ice to knock off-balance.

If it targets Kanade and Mijimeki, Faust conjures a spear-like bolt of ice and stab it in the eye with it.

Otherwise, after the Agi hits Aoi, Faust grabs the Raven's head and using its momentum from the quick turn (assuming it has to face its target to Agi properly), brings its head against a wall, discharging the spell during the impact.

The first to take action isn't the hellish bird this time, but rather the teasing healer, and with a flash of her pale Persona, Kanade immediately provides a burst of rejuvenation to the male of her two angsty companions, immediately leaving Mijimeki standing much straighter. 60 HP restored to Mijimeki!

Then the raven acts... but this time things are much different. At first, it just writhes, squawks, and shrieks in a manner that is unmistakably feminine, but then with a violent motion of its limply-bending wing a wave of fire crosses the room, striking each of the three fighters. Aoi takes 35 damage, Kanade takes 45, and Mijimeki takes 41! Then it crosses its wing with a loud squawk, and a bright, white wall forms around it!

Mijimeki's charge meets the bird as the wave dissipates and the wall forms, his gray and lurching Persona slamming a fist into the cursed thing, a hit that meets solidly and would have presented a major turning point had he been somewhat luckier -- but even as is, it's enough to almost give the bird pause. Bash connects -- and the bird is visibly now more frantic and pained!

This is immediately followed by Aoi's attack, the girl still limply but stubbornly hanging around its neck with one arm even as she loses any opportunity to use the bird's momentum against it. The other arm moves, and her cloaked Persona appears, jamming a quickly-conjured bolt of ice into its side. But now, this time, it isn't quite as effective, and though the bird shrieks with pain again, it remains upright. Bufu connects, but only with about the same level of effectiveness as the Bash!

From around the far doorway, a grey-gloved hand is briefly visible -- and three shining shapes fly from it and to the ground, impacting against it and rolling towards the Raven... between its legs... and towards the group! These shapes are two bright blue, teardrop shaped stones and a wider, rounder red-glowing one!
The group gains two Soul Drops and a Life Stone!

((Okay, here's what I'm thinking, that thing is probably going first, and it's going to hit Miji and Aoi again, because it only attacked Kanade on the first turn when she actually attacked it and last turn which was a reactive effect. Aoi will most likely survive this, because it usually rolls less than 35. However, if she is not healed, she is going down next turn, because Kanade will likely be too slow to save her. And if we're burning a Soul Drop on her, she better damn live and make our investment worth it.

Kanade should Dia herself. She has enough SP for 5 more heals and next turn or the turn after we can Soul Drop her.

And if it does target Kanade. If it does knock her down, well, we're fucked.))

Aoi moves first, quickly scooping the red stone off of the ground and clasping it tightly; slowly the red energy coming off of it leaches into her, and by the time the stone is fully absorbed, some of her burns have lessened and disappeared and she immediately feels much healthier. Aoi regains 33 health!

Then with a horrible screech the raven-creature sends out another pair of projectiles, that find their way towards the two women of the team. Each fireball connects, and with a splash of heat and licks of tongues of flame they sear their targets! Kanade's left swaying, barely on her feet -- but on her feet nonetheless, whereas Aoi is left essentially in her earlier state. Aoi takes 33 damage, and Kanade takes 38!

The other two take steps to replenish the party's flagging state, and to reverse the toll of the battle a bit. Mijimeki flings a teardrop stone towards Aoi, and midflight it glows and then winks away, the blue energy flowing from it to Aoi, whose very spirit is buoyed a bit by this stone. Meanwhile, Kanade's Persona moves its hands, and she feels her burns sinking away and vanishing! Kanade regains 58 HP, Aoi regains 10 SP!

The noisy monster makes it noise and makes its move, screaming again before flinging off two more burning projectiles; Kanade is spared from the fire this time around, but Mijimeki and once again Aoi are burned, the fireball impacting Aoi right in the stomach and the second burning across Mijimeki's shoulder. Aoi remains standing, if barely, and though Mijimeki is thrown off balance he isn't about to be taken out of the fight. Aoi takes 31 damage, and Mijimeki takes 37! Mijimeki is also staggered.

Swaying but standing, Aoi chooses not to assault the bird directly, but instead to boost the attacks of the one who seems to be the toughest and presently healthiest of the three; Mijimeki. With the appearance of Faust and a blue glow around the boy, he feels energy and vigor suffuse him. Mijimeki receives a Tarukaja!

Kanade takes advantage of her relative present safety to give aid to someone who seriously needs it. Lenore bursting forth, Kanade casts a Dia upon Aoi, fading some of her burns to mere angry pink patches, and keeping the girl three or so hits from unconsciousness rather than one. Aoi is healed for 64 points!

Then it's time for the strike back, and the grey Frankenstein Monster that is Mijimeki's Persona flashes into being, rears back, and slams into the bird, its head snapping to the side from the Persona-powered punch, and not turning back quite straight. The bird may not be dead, but the fact that its appearance is even more tattered and broken than before speaks volumes to the beating that has been delivered by the party. Mijimeki deals a respectable amount of damage!

Bracing for another impact Aoi summons Faust once more, the Persona closing its hand around the Shadow's throat as it glows azure.

Bufu on Smashed Raven. If possible, do so via a chokeslam that covers the ground with icy spikes as it impacts.
