When the spell hits, the effects are, well, they're the most effective attack she (or anyone else) has had fighting these things so far. The ice explodes against the hand, sending it skidding to the ground and pretty much blowing the hell out of it. It isn't dead, but it looks a lot closer to it than before.

The fire rolls over the hand, and when it recedes, there isn't anything left but a few motes of shadow.
