Even though sound carries particularly well in an enclosed space like the parking garage, a person just kicking a sturdy, gigantic concrete wall isn't going to be THAT loud without hurting themselves, and Aoi's kick doesn't actually do much to distract the unnatural things. Now, the distinctive shattering sound of a Persona being summoned is a different story, and when
THAT rings out, the lot of them turn immediately for the source of the sound and start moving towards the corner Aoi and Mijimeki are hiding in. The shade also quickly turns in that direction, looks at the creatures moving away, turns around towards Kanade up by the naginata, and lurches in thr opposite direction through the short hallway into a second door very quickly.

The creatures turn out not to actually be all that bright after all, as they blunder pretty cleanly into the trap that Aoi and Mijimeki have set for them, two out of three moving right into attacks from the Persona-wielders, and the third only spared by virtue of numbers.
Aoi moves first with one of her ice attacks, blasting whitish-blue energy at one of the glove-like creatures, connecting with it. The magic explodes off of it, and the hand is sent sprawling to the ground by the impact, skipping once, Aoi's spell having made quite the impact.
