Strange I've never see a message about vermin interacting with the dwarves before. Why should this come up? Do I now have to worry about a possible crimefighting dwarf now? Or do giant cave spider webs have a darker orgin?

Umh, no, I don't know what that message means. It never happened to me...might be a nice easter egg...if your dwarf starts spinning webs around and gaing some new attributes like Extremely Strong and Ultra-Agile, please tell us :-)

Dammit! I guess the spidey senses weren't tingling enough. four Lizard man raid did thedwarf in. But atleast 3 of te 4 got taken out.

This mystery will have to wait for another day.

That would explain why the dwarf fell stunned when the lizard man was a square away. I had thought that Toady had given them a ranged attack.
