THE NEWSPAPER
FRANCE REINFORCES BORDER
French troops have been seen marching towards the north of Burgundy, a hotspot of conflict between English, French and German interests. Germany has been mostly quiet during the recent upheavals, but internal sources report that they are stirring into action, and may play a pivotal role in the coming years. As an English or French intrusion into German territory to capitalize on their unprepared military seems imminent, a reactive Germany could throw a spanner into the works.
AUSTRIA CARVED UP
Italian and Polish forces continue to carve their way through the upheaval in Austria. They have abandoned their previous stance of humanitarian aid and nation re-building; internal reports from both countries report the cities of Vienna and Klug have been bombarded with pro-Italian and Polish propaganda, in an attempt to sway their citizens. Turkey, the other major influence over the Austrian Conflict, as many observers are calling it, has decided to not directly intercede militarily, despite a heavy military presence. Instead, Turkish forces seem to be focused on making a bid for control over the Mediterranean, where it will face intense Italian opposition.
INDIA, POLAND, JAPAN TURN TOWARDS COLLAPSING CHINA
Due to a series of assassinations of top Chinese leaders, the Chinese state is in disarray, as coups erupt, attempting to dislodge other coups that have gained power. Japanese and Indian forces appear to be taking advantage of this turn of events to divide the nation up, in an attempt to secure their own interests, and prevent Polish forces from doing the same. Polish forces have been reported marshalling at the Manchurrian border, and a fleet of Polish warships has been sighted in Korea, perhaps to move on Peking or the Japanese homeland.

BUDAPEST UNDER SIEGE
Over the course of the last year and a half, Austria has been slowly carved up by Poland and Italy, both taking advantage of the chaos. The chaos, which both claimed to be attempting to end, has only gotten worse, as the two nations have turned the city of Budapest into a battleground. Italian forces marched from the city of Trieste to the outskirts of Budapest, only to be met by local troops, armed with fresh weapons and uniforms. Our sources inside the self-titled Budapest Defense Front report that the supplies came from Poland, who also has designs on the region.
ENGLISH COLONIES SEIZED
A Franco-Indian military alliance made serious blows to English political power in Southeast Asia when they supported a pro-France and Pro-Indian coup in the city of Johor and in the provinces of Thailand. This will have lasting repercussions in the area, as Anglo military power is still very present in the region, and is likely preparing to retaliate as we speak.
Turkey, ITALY CLASH IN EGYPT
In the land of the Nile, Italian and Turkish navies came into conflict, as both attempted to stake a claim. Tension between two major Mediterranean powers has been growing since the collapse of the Austrian state. The neighbors both have stakes in the fate of Austria, and Turkey appears to have sided with Poland, Italy's greatest indirect threat. Tensions reached a boiling point when Italy landed an army in the state of Albania, only a few hundred kilometers from an important Grecian port used by the Turkish military.
