"It wasn't him, exactly," says the Traveler, looking grave. "He didn't realize what he was dealing with. He should have recognized it. But I didn't either. And after all this time, too..."

It has been determined that Trump is an average unladen swallow travelling northbound at his maximum sustainable speed of -3 Obama-cubits per second in the middle of a class 3 hurricane.

"From the moment I showed up, we both should have realized..."

Stripes of silvery and brassy metal snaked across the ground, blindly engulfing various people and objects. Some rose up to cover Him but the metal withered away within a couple feet. One was meandering worryingly close the group. "What do you suppose happens when two overwriting sources of ultimate reality attempt to occupy the same place?"

"Well can it be undone?"

"I... I don't know. The ship is tearing itself apart, and so is this place. It's like they're locked in a chain reaction, both wanting something different and unable to decide. If only.. if only I could... talk to her..."

Metal-encased forms began to slide into the maelstrom's center. Or more like, it seemed that the space between them vanished, and the unfortunate first to hit seemed to stretch thinner and thinner, into infinity. However, He appeared to intersperse Himself between all the others at once, ballooning the space between, delaying their trajectory indefinitely.

"Well we can't stop this otherwise!

Allons-y, already!  Or are we waiting for Christmas?"

Avi starts tugging the Traveller towards the core...

The Traveler gently pushes Avi aside. "No... I won't be dragged. It's time I turned around and faced what's due for me. If this is the end, at least I won't just be letting it happen." A tear runs down his face, his breath shakes as he stares into the impossible point at the center of the storm. "I just wish I hadn't dragged her down with me..."

With one last look back at the others, he says "Who knows, maybe this will work. Better than doing nothing, right?" And he turns and sprints towards the center. He screams something as he runs, but from the point where he reaches it, a blinding flash drowns out all sound and sight, reaching before and after the moment.

All goes white. The boy's song cuts out between notes. You can feel yourself gently dissolving...

You can no longer feel your body, or any sense of your location. There are only indistinct sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and touches, none of which connect to any kind of discernible corporeality. But you sense, at least, that you still have your own thoughts and your own voice.

"Sis? Look, I'm sorry. For all of it..."

"Mom? Dad?"

So functionally it's just another sensory deprivation chamber as far as sensation is concerned. Koi does what he did back in his younger days and begins to Condense the assorted disconnected sensations.
