As you move forward you see... or remember?... images, scenes taking shape in the spaces between the trees. Through every gap is two of... something.

The Two came to love each other very much. Their love grew and grew, until it became so great...

The two distinctions begin to dance and whirl around each other, colors flashing in the sunbeams shining through the canopy. Faster and faster, brighter and brighter, until suddenly, you can distinguish another.

...they created a child.

Koi begins watching for distortions in existence,
It seems like something more familiar to you, communication by the sharing of memories, though this seems even more vivid somehow. You're sure there's something complex going on with the windows into scenes between the trees, but the fluid, buttery consistency of local spacetime makes it impossible to ascertain.

Rajita is weirded out by the voices, but presses on.
As you see the three presences, radiating with joy, you can't help but remember scenes from your own childhood. In fact, everyone, as they press on, feels the images resonating with their earliest memories.

The guitar musics builds up, gaining another layer. The Two were filled with so much joy when their child finally came to be. Their love for Him outshone the sun. The third presence begins to grow brighter, the colored lights more vibrant. The Two larger presences slowly orbit around it. At the same time, through the windows of the trees, there are scenes of Firsts, childlike discoveries of both simple joys and grander beauty. It made them so glad to see their child grow, and begin to discover and enjoy. But as He grew...

The presence is growing so bright now, so intense, that its light becomes uncomfortably hot. You begin to feel disoriented, seeing the outlines of things around you begin to waver. As He grew, as He played, the child broke the world. And so, though it broke their hearts, the Two...

For a moment, everything grows completely dark. They had to send Him away.

The child was so hurt, alone and afraid. But... Light returns, but there is only One now. He came to understand. And though He could not return, as He grew He realized that there was much else He could do. The light now flickers over the trees themselves, as the music rises to a crescendo. You see, or remember, scenes of every one of them being planted. He made a place for those who, like Him, grew too large for the bounds of the world. A place where they would, at least, have peace.

After a truly indescernible amount of time, the trail opens into a clearing. At the center is one tree, enmeshed with a treehouse that reaches to the ground. And sitting on a rocking chair, playing the music to a calm finale, He sits, seeming at once a child and an old man, and everything between. There is only calm and silence now. "Nice day, isn't it?"

He gestures, inviting everyone to sit down. You get the feeling that, whatever kind of seat you wanted, you'd find at hand, if you desired. "It is. Can I get y'all anything?

Resalth shakes his head politely.

Desire to test the boundaries of the question. "Got any Rigellian takeout?" And suddenly there it was, on a picnic table, a carton of what looks like pink spaghetti and brains.

"Anyone else? I reckon y'all have some questions, too."
