A squirrel falls out of a tree ahead, landing with a small poof of dust in the middle of the road. It looks to be quite fat, and drags itself away off the edge of the path and back into the trees. "Well, always nice for someone to be positive. Anyone else see it getting lighter ahead?"

They indeed could. Koi could hear the signal getting slightly clearer, too, though the foliage still seemed to be interfering, somehow.

"Signal's getting louder. Looks like the flora is inducing a level of interference."

While No ponders, he also takes a look at the plants in a magical sense.

"The plants? What're the plants doing? Anyways, the day is pretty good, don't you think?"

"No the day is not good. It is a disease ridden festering pit of a lowtech planet. Not even high enough to rank on the scale."

Rajita shrugs.
"Well, it is kind of boring, but there is some charm to be found in that, you know? Besides, I'm finally free from my parents' clutches, and that's something to be happy about, isn't it?"

"I swear it's like you people are blind." Koi does not elaborate on this.

(Sorry it took so long to get back to this)

"Something's... odd. Hm."

While No ponders, he also takes a look at the plants in a magical sense.

They look asleep. A sea of thinking souls, dreaming and dripping dreams of anxiety into their surroundings. Noh can almost taste it. Blind? Hah.

"I swear it's like you people are blind." Koi does not elaborate on this.

"Or perhaps you are an information addict. One of the hazards of the post-singularity life, really. Of course, we should not let our guards down, but you'd be saying the same thing even if we landed in a perfectly innocent patch of 17th Century rural France." The Traveler laughs darkly. "But I guess that's not really fair. You're out of your element. It's like making fun of a 17th Century French peasant for getting lost on a space station." He looks over at the supersoldier in roman power armor. "Say, Titus, how're you holding up?"

Titus acts as if he hadn't heard what he said and after a moment noticed that the traveler was looking at him. He runs his hand over his right side of his helmet and speaks through the suits speakers. "Oh sorry did you say something? I disabled my microphones a little while ago so I didn't have to hear the boy's constant complaints."
