How about taking a few spare batteries for the coilguns and drones, and some cooling cartridges for the camo cloak?

BTW, a few more notes about the drones.
They have a 2 meter projection radius (so 4 meter diameter bubble)
The hologram needs clear line of sight to project
It also has small but loud speaker that can play the sounds of what it projects
it hovers to chosen location and can automatically detect and avoid obstacles.

Also can i have some quick release chaff grenades just mounted so I can pull and throw, releasing the pin in the process?

Hm... Do I need food?

I think I might take a semi-automatic gun (and a few ammo clips) so that I can fire at invisible targets. They'll probably be bullet-proof, but their stealth paint (if they have any) might get chipped.

Can I have a hologram projector? It might be nice to have some mirror images handy if my stealth-tech fails me.

Do I need to camo-paint any extra equipment?

Can NAV develop and upload programs to the drones between and/or during matches? It might be nice to have a voice-throwing or ventriloquism program (using what hardware is currently on the drones, of course).

If the fleshy-bits of my brain get mind-controlled, can NAV ASSUME DIRECT CONTROL remotely? If my mechanical bits get mind-controlled, can NAV shut them off remotely? How good are the cyber-defenses for my mechanical bits?

Can I do mental-resilience exercises before the match, since those won't require much movement (NAV probably needs me to keep still so that he can modify me)?

Natural obedience of soldier willing to work for such Company and readiness to throw away their humanity and life for sake of the project?

Magic requires a very small structure attached to drones to negate effects of mass. Science requires bigger engines and fuel tanks to produce required lift. Makes it also bigger target.

Magic seems objectively better. I don't really mind that it'll probably advance the company's space program by a century or so.

Of course magic better. It alwas trumps everything raw science can produce. So... 5 giant flying dicks.

Sure. Spare batteries are a good idea. Four or six should probably be enough. Cooling cartridges are accounted for.

For sake of reduced complexity no food is required.

Semi-automatic rifle + four 20 bullet clips.

You can always keep one holodrone in your person and use it instead.

Assume camopaint on anything relevant.

If a feature wasn't part of the item by 30th September, it won't be after that either.

No direct control features are included, nor are remote shut down features. I guess defense wasn't big part of mad scientist's plan here. Physical contact is required for any hacking to take place. Or divine magic.

Personal training regimes are ok. Dice gave you a 5, so when/if it becomes relevant, you'll have a good standing.


Yeah. That and the fact testing grounds are fairly far away from any laboratories. And I'm not really going to let you murder other than people flagged for murder. It isn't profitable.
