Few days later, a letter from Orgus Califlorus, Damdamian Governor of Lametania, arrives.

In the letter, he first informs you that the Chunug are the allies of the Damdamian Republic, and therefore he warns you that further hostilities against the nomads will be dealt with swiftly. He also informs you that the Damdamian Senate will overlook your conquests and oppression of Chunug so far if you will provide a certain amount of northern riches to the vaults of the Senate. You consult with few of your courtiers, and ultimately decide to...

A) Continue conquering the Chunug tribe and send not a single coin to the Senate.
B) Send the money, and then continue with the conquest anyways.
C) Stop further attacks against Chunug and send the money.
D) Conclude the campaign against the Chunug, but do not send the money.

Aw geez. Maybe the senate didn't tell this guy about our deal, or maybe the senate has altered the deal.
I feel like the second part comes from the senate directly, so maybe we should listen to that. I guess the senate needs an excuse for why they are letting us attack their allies; a token gift will let them save face. The first part sounds like it comes from the governor, who I am going to hope did not know about our deal. So let's ignore that.

And speaking of the Army, it returned to conquering, catching up with the Kiwis who recently took over a large strip of land from the Chunug.

There's however a commotion at the palace - news came that Eirike disappeared from her entourage's ranks just the night before reaching the court of Anktuk. The King of Dahnia is already sending trackers to find the fleeing girl. The advisor leans toward you as you receive the news from the messenger.
