The Army, numbering almost as much rebels, first sends the Oliphaunts in fornt to break through the lines of the rebels. Then the foot soldiers flank the the res and put it between two crushing arms of the cavalry, annihilating the rebel force in a display of bloodshed and slaughter previously unseen in Luathbas!

The clergy and Pantheon worshippers are cry out to heavens at this spectacular victory, and they praise your staunch defense of the faith across the recent years. Soon the moniker 'Lady of the Faith' follows after your name!

A week later, the court gathers while the Marshal and Archpriest together preach that the Crown should capitalize on this victory and issue an anti-Singularist edict. They all look at you, and you therefore issue an edict that...

A) Bans Singularism with the start of next year, and all those that will be found in Luathbas practising the heresy after New Year's Eve will be heavily punished, up to and including capital punishment.
B) Exiles all Singularists to the northern countries, Tven and Dahnia, unless they're willing to convert back to Pantheonism with Crown officials as witnesses.
C) Bans Singularism from now on and all those found worshipping will be put to death along with their immediate families.
D) Forces all Singularists to pay a large fine if they wish to remain faithful and those who cannot pay shall be exiled to the northern countries.

So options B and D are the sort of choices we absolutely must not make, for the reasons I have previously mentioned.
The choice, then, is between A and C. And despite my calls for harsh punishment, I think going with the harshest punishment is liable to backfire- 'put to death along with their families' is going to catch a lot of innocent people. Heck, what if one of our distant relatives turns out to be Singularist, are we going to execute an entire branch of our family? And what about the families of those young nobles, are we going to execute them? The rest of the nobility won't like that.
Let's go with the option that promises harsh punishment, without risking the execution of innocents.
