I'd vote for yes if we had the wise trait, but as it stands, we already got payed for introducing them to the trade route in the first place (when they fixed our aquifer). Sure, we got the worse end of the bargain but it's gonna be difficult justifying our tax to the dwarves.

Anyway. As mentioned, we don't actually have any legal standing to further tax the dwarves, and whilst we could make an argument for it, we would be better served doing that in more peaceful times. Which we definitely should, the dwarves deserve to pay some (more) taxes.

The western front is calm for now.

884 AD, Midsummer

The Kiwi are crushing the Ramo with help of the Huljan. However the reports from Kiwi soldiers mention no elves met or spotted in Huljan delegations or horsemen sent on few joint operations.

884 AD, Autumn

The commanders send a letter full of their worries.

They mention that their supplies are again going low, that some men - especially the draftees - are grumbling, and that the Adila are being worryingly quiet lately. Some believe that the Adila are preparing a massive, horryfying offensive, while others think that Adila is exhausted and this is prime opportunity to grab some more land. The commanders, unable to reach compromise, have thus decided to ask you for guidance - and more supplies, of course.

As for the strategy...

A) Continue defending the West.
B) Onwards, for more landgrab!

As for the supplies...

A) Squeeze money outta Treasury to procure supplies for the campaigning Army!
B) Send them your good wishes and blessings instead, it might help.

We aren't waging war for MORE land--do think ahead; land is only useful by how it's going to be used. If we keep throwing people just to HOLD more land rather than grow and cultivate what we have, it's going to be the shortsighted thinking that'll undo all this. Don't go for B, is my opinion, for the first choice. We haven't even fully made what we have efficient, especially if it's frontier land.

Also caring for folks up front is why this all matters :3
...What in the world are the values of Adila and the rest of the Khanates anyway?! I can understand militarized populace, but even ancient or historical sources do not militarize literally everyone (Surely, obviously, they must have lesser than our army value if we add 'possible militia' which is likely half of a population value, at worst it's an 8, but that's a splintered Khanate and they've taken MUCH LOSSES FOR A LONG TIME. :V)

...B would technically sound better--but that's NOT our goal. Unless we can hold that land, AND fortify what goes behind us, that's what'll sway B.
