B) Slowly advance upon their flank with all your numbers.
C) Prepare for combat but leave the tactics for your commanders.
D) Send the envoy again, this time offering to tell them what Senate told you.

I...think that this is more the unmentioned FOLLOW UP of the agenda--if we attack, the senate will get both a hero and a lack of 'bad governor', and a reason to attack us (I...think? ...But they're just attacking us outright anyway)
...We're completely within bounds to counterattack actually, even if they had an agenda that we're not privvy about.

A seems like a pincer attack
B seems like a show of force (which is ok with us since we don't want to kill them BUT if they DO WANT TO FIGHT, let's go!)
C gives tactics to the tacticians (guessing it doesn't get a roll from us...which is ok since we lack any martial bonuses other than numbers)
D ...seems politically vulnerable.

Unsure which is the Wise choice but B is good. I mean unless they have some sort of assassination weapon or some great big plan UNDER that one plan they told us about in private (which is pretty apparently private :v), paranoia can be saved for later.

Unfortunately your soldiers fall onto the heaviest defended camp. Many Damdamians are there, ready and waiting, and a massive melee ensues as your cavalry tries to nibble on the flank's flank.

However your soldiers chew up through the numbers and begin their push in earnest! Many points are breached and soon the camp is flooded by Luathbas soldiers, who steal arms and massacre the wounded and unprepared to combat, quickly overtaking the camp.

The swift victory terrifies the rest of the besieging army, who quickly abandonds the siege and leaves the siege equipment and supplies on fire.

A) Time for victorious entry into House of Lech and gathering of forces!
B) Time for a hunt for Damdamians! After them!!
