You order a knightly tournament to be hosted with the Treasury's money.

Whilst it was quite a show, it didn't do much to quell most of the discontent people. They're still grumbling about alleys and backrooms.

The new Marshal of the military, clad in shiny lamellar armor and fancy helmet with feathers, arrives with a host of officers and advisors.
"My liege! I report that the change of the Army has been accomplished! No longer we will depend on levies, mercenaries and the untrained peasantry! Within half a year, the change will be announced to all governors and noblemen! Young men across Luathbas will receive notices of mandatory conscription in about the same amount of time. Our kingdom shall be as strong as never before!"
Congratulations! Kingdom of Luathbas successfully reorganized its Army to a professional and mandatory training model:
You will no longer be able to just grab peasants and mercenaries during End of the Year summaries to replenish Army numbers.
The Army will continuously maintain (or at least, try to maintain) a high level on its own and will cause a constant drain on Economy (currently easily countered).
Knightly tournaments are now part of usual festivals, and will no longer gain you any recruits.
As mentioned by the new Marshal, you just received a small Population penalty to kick-start the mandatory conscription&training scheme.
In times of emergency, you will be able to order mobilization of a chunk of male popualtion for a certain amount of time.
You congratulate them all and then express your wishes that they do their best. They promise to do so!

Sect of the One has been causing disturbance in the northern lands!
Well, at least that's the report coming from the governor of the city of Glaz; a small Pantheon shrine was set on fire and apparently someone written 'Only One Matters' on the back wall of the temple in the meanwhile. While no culprits were found, the lead priest of the local Temple is blaming the Sect of One and demanded of governor mass arrests, but the governor decided to ask you for guidance first.
A) Agree with the priest and have the prominent members of Sect of One arrested.
B) Tell him to hold on while you send agents to investigate.
C) Tell him to do as he wants.
D) Ha! Good riddance! Have the Priest and other local Pantheon clergy arrested because its CLEARLY THEM who staged this! Who knows what other secret plans they might have!!
E) ...then again, what if the Oneists and Pantheonists staged this
together to start a religious war that would in the end destroy Luathbas and its royal family!? Arrest them all!!
