You order your remaining men to make a hasty retreat northwards!

In somewhat orderly manner, the remainder of footsoldiers quickly forms a rear guard that follows you and your mounted bodyguard of noblemen. On the way north, you meet with the spearmen reserves that look quite allright and relaxed.
"We never met the Lametanian horsemen, sire." Says their commanding officer.
With over two thousand of footsoldiers and fifty horsemen, you make your way toward House of Lech.

Only seldomly do Lametanian horsemen attack and harass the rear and flanks of your army, but those attacks are easily repelled with just minimal casualties amongst those retreating with you.
Few days later, a forward scout reports sighting of a camp with Luathbas banners!
By the evening, you enter the camp; it's not, unfortunately, reinforcements, but rather a small group of forward watch. They are warned of incoming Lametanian forces, and then you make your way back to House of Lech. Fortunately, this part of the journey comes without shame of defeat and risk of your life.
In two days time, you cross the gate of House of Lech, and have a messenger dispatched to the capital, asking for reinforcements of any kind.
The military commanders convene with you, and in this debate the next course of action is decided...
A) Let's wait and recuperate for a few days or maybe a week, even.
B) We will take the reserves of House of Lech and march back towards Felonsein at once!
