We want the option that provides the most troops. Which is A, as that lets us use both the full 'might' of our existing army against the southern force, and some mercenaries against the west.
Also, any hopes that Beren might be a reluctant ally of the Damdamians just went out the window when his army showed up on our door. He could've made some excuse to hold them back if he cared about us in the slightest. I reiterate: what a dick.

However, there are heavy casualties amongst Luathbas soldiers; Oliphaunts no longer exist in this country, for example, and Lady Enwynn along with majority of her soldiers won't be returning to Tven, either. Ceodwell himself has been lightly wounded in the arm, and he lost a half of his soldiers.

Message of defeat is sent from the west; the allied troop of Kiwis and Damdamians routed a troop of Luathbas soldiers and mercenaries at the Battle of Mnyllenych Forest, the one that lies westwards from the capital.

According to other reports, several smaller cities have surrended to the Kiwis after the battle.

These could both be good news. The dwarves consider the Damdamians their enemies too (or at least, the reverse is certainly true), and Dahnia may be willing to send reinforcements.
On the other hand, Dahnia could be letting us know that they are siding with our enemies whilst the dwarves are just looking to make some money.
Well, whatever.
