You sign the documents proclaiming the end of the campaign in the west.
Congratulations! Queen Elana successfully concludes a military campaign!
Even before the orders reached the West, peoples across Luathbas, especially mothers and wives, began celebrating the end of hostilities.
884 AD, Midwinter
The Army returned to central Luathbas and already begun working to return to previous, numerous and strong, state.
884 AD, End of the Year
The advisor brings the Scrolls of Kingdom Status during a lazy, chilly morning.
Happiness: 3
Population: 5
Economy: 3
Army: 5
"The overall lack of major fights against the Adila, plus the amount of supplies left from earlier procurement, has left our Army in a relaxed state. However, people across the land are angry and the Treasury continues to be in the low numbers. Normally I would offer raising taxes or spending money on festivals, but this time we have to carry on without such measures." You agree with the Advisor. He then snaps his fingers and two young courtiers bring up a large scroll, opening it up before you.
"Travelers and scouts sent westwards during the campaign have brought some informaiton and thus the royal scribes had our map updated with some western additions. Land of the dwarves is still beyond our reliable reach, my Queen."
885 AD, Summer
There is some unrest in the southern lands!
Apparently thousands of people, angry about the wars, taxes, mobilization and treatment of Pantheonists in the north have formed an armed horde that is occupying the city of Tinnenwach! And, according to the reports, the city garrison have killed the mayor, imprisoned the high military officers and joined the rebels.
This whole horde is under control of an excommunicated zealot, Jann the Choosen, who, styling himself as 'Savior of Luathbas', is now gathering his ragged forces to march onto the capital city.
The spymaster is summoned for explanation.
"Apologies, Queen Elana." He bows his head. "It appears it was a spontanous uprising as anything properly planned would have let my agents to warn us." Nonetheless, this is a very bad time for a rebellion to occur. During a council with courtiers and officers alike, it is decided that...
A) A letter pleading for calm and unity will be sent to the rebels.
B) Army shall be sent to deal with this problem violently.
C) Assassins-slash-mercenaries will be sent to kill Jann the Choosen.
