You order your offficers to take the Army and smash it against the cavalry. They murmur in approval.
In an hour your scouts bring information that the cavalry is turning around to meet with you!
The archers take better shooting positions as the soldiers form lines to meet with advancing cavalry, your own being kept to side by the commanders.
Then the Damdamian flag flutters in the north! Lots of white and brown steeds with either armored spearmen or swordsmen wearing thick tunics and padded suits. Amongst the armored ones, you can see a ma nwearing a shiny helmet with a red plume on top. Must be Wrexus Magnibus.
Your Army is given an order to attack.
2*
But the Damdamian cavalry turns and rides right against and into your horsemen! Some of them fall down in melee before anyone can react.
4*
Luathbas horsemen however do not panic and ride into melee just as your archers and crossbowmen welcome the Damdamians at the rear with volleys of arrows and bolts that kills a whole bunch of them.
5*
For the next hour the melee is brutal and savage. Your cavalry unfortunately has to get away as it was being slaughtered, but by then your soldiers managed to get onto the Damdamians flanks and envelop them in half-ring of death. The slaughter begun and despite the fact that Damdamians fight bravely, they're all cut down.
After the battle, some lucky soldier finds the helmet with a plume, and some others report finding a corpse of older damdamian in fancy armor and a signet with inscription 'M.W.3'. Possibly Magnibus, Wrexus, the Third. Must be a family with some traditions.
The commanders convene in your tent after the battle. After some time, you decide to...
A) Retreat to the capital to gather new forces, especially new cavalry unit.
B) Camp for a day or two and then march southwards.
C) Rouse your men and march to help the House of Lech at once!
