Dwarves are cool and all, but I'm not sure we can let them do anything they want to. We should retain some measure of control, at least until they have proven that they can live by our laws and respect, though not necessarily adopt, our customs.

He then lists his ancestry and relevant laws, plus a book that you do not happen to remember reading, but dealing with special cases of exile and place in the line for the throne. Therefore you have to assume his claim, while rather shaky, is viable.

Of course, a duel is always a viable method of solving such disputes, no matter the strength of the claim. After a moment of thinking, you decide to...

Well, shit. Wisdom can only get you so far, eh?

So, legally speaking, we should choose option A. That would be exceptionally dangerous, as he is probably martial and we are not.
To continue the reign of Feodh the wise, which might be nice, considering that wisdom seems to be a useful trait in almost every non-martial situation, requires choosing option C.
On the other hand, having a martial ruler might be a good thing, considering the wars that are probably in our future. So we might want to choose B, which would transfer power whilst keeping Feodh around as a backup king in case Dagan dies without heirs.

...hmm.

I'm actually gonna go with B. A martial ruler who we can throw into danger without worrying about heirs would actually be good for the country. Though I could be convinced to change my vote.

C is safest. With A we will die, with B he become king but will piss off alot of people to handing over crown and C only risk is if he ends up forming a rebellion.
