B, he seems like he's in a bit of a rush to tell us all about his troubles.

You let the nobleman in and he bursts into your throne room just like he bursts with anger.

"My liege! Is it true that you're letting in some lizard savages!?"

"That is true, and they're merchants-"

"And they killed my son!!" The courtiers murmur while the nobleman retells how a chance meeting between the reptiles and his son went; the merchants, taking whole width of a bridge while crossing it with their strage reptilean beasts of burden, didn't want to let the nobleman's son through. The youth then dared threatened to put them into dungeon so one of the leading Xanga impaled the kid on a trident.

"I demand compensation! I demand justice!! No foreigner shall treat people of Luathbas like that!"

A) Compensate the grieving nobleman.
B) Send a group of soldiers to apprehend the hot-blooded 'merchants'!
C) Ask him to wait for the delegation to arrive so they can explain themselves.

You ask him to wait for the merchants as they're coming here in few days time.

"Great! I will personally see to it that they're brought to justice!" He takes a guest chamber all for himself.

The Xanga come two days after the nobleman's arrival, and the guards report that they wear naught but loincloths and skins that are yellow and with black patches. And that they brought two large quadruped reptiles with them that have spikes protruding from their backs that have a diamond shape.

There is nine Xanga total; most of them brown and tan, none black. All of them have orange and red ridges. The smallest of them has red eyes, like its brethren and its ridges are much smoother. Four of the Xanga, including the smallest one, wield tridents made of metal and redwood.

"I am Issshad Nah. I am of Xanga, and I hear many beasssst this land. Ssso we come to trade beast for beastssskins. And to see first of humans of far land." The larger Xanga bring forth and deposit various skins at the steps of your throne; orange skins with black patches, yellow with black patches, black-and-white striped skin, greyish skin that looks rather tough. Most of them are unworked, but there are a couple of colorful belts, and a cloak with hood, made from delicate black fur-like material.

A) Thank them for the gifts and say that their traders are welcome in Luathbas.
B) Thank them for the gifts, but say that if beastskins are the only things they have, you don't see any profitable trade here.
C) Ask about the slain son of the nobleman first.

You ask them about the killing of nobleman's son.

They hiss in somewhat... satisfied manner.

"Young human fool. The Tzagaga are ssslow and time need to move, but he angry and ssstubborn and not listen. He then touch me so a Tail kill him with mighty three-sssspear!" The small lizard places its hands on its waist.

Then the door opens and the nobleman moves in, angry.

"That's the one!" He points at the most brown of the Xanga who is wielding a trident. "He killed my son, I have witnesses!"

"Young human disssshonor me, so he pay blood!" The small lizard hisses at the nobleman.

"That is murder!"

"This is how Xanga law issss!"

"This is Luathbas!"

"Fool you too!" The lizard hisses and the others turn toward the nobleman. "Where Xanga go, Xanga law go also! This how it issss since Firssst City." The taller reptiles hiss quietly, looking at each other.

A) Ask the nobleman to calm down as clearly its a (very tragic) cultural misunderstanding here.
B) Ask the reptilean Xanga to pay well for the child's death, as they did break Luathbas law.
