Your agents bring in their findings. The assassin was hired by someone outside Luathbas but they have covered their tracks very well and few more assassins were hired to get rid of people involved in the affair. This must be some powerful or wealthy (or both) person or nation to have pulled this off!

Logic would help here but your paranoid tendencies kick in instead...

A) Clearly! Your son Tvadar allied with Kiwis to usurp your throne!! Brand Tvadar and his family as criminals and declare war on Kiwi Empire at once!!
B) At last! My dear cousin Sela have conspired with the Damdamians to get rid of me, the thorn in their asses for so long!! Send assassins to slay Sela and declare war against the Republic!
C) No no, you see, it is Parsia and Gubta who secretly plotted against me all this time, and now tried to deal a lethal blow to Luathbas to weaken it before conquering!! Begin killing off Parsian populace and break off ties with the scheming Gubtas!!

Considering the ties and recent history however, is it just me or does "B" seem like the 'partially best right' answer given that both assassins used crossbows or stuff like that? I'm forgetful :I

But seirously evidence points to only one reasonable way, and that is A. C is just ugh. Gubta are...seemingly nice, despite being bound to their EMPEROR. B just came out of nowhere as I can't find any connection to Sela or the Damdamians other than our religious fiasco earlier.

Also C is plain genocidal. :I Breaking off ties 'just like that' (as in no formal declaration) will bring more ire than it is worth.

I don't know if I want to vote A or B. I don't like those republic dogs and the Kiwi empire makes sense but I don't want to brand Tvadar and his family as traitors. That does make the most logical sense though. So I guess A for now.
