Charlotte is quietly listening to the discussion in the mission briefing room.

Wario scratches his head. "Any methods, huh?" He grins. "What if we looted Deniya before these other guys had a chance to? We'll have to pool our cash to buy the storage, but it should work—we'll become rich!"

"What about those other nations though? Remember, the death of the two super powers is ultimately beneficial as the small nations can peacefully work things out. If we let them live we fuck over the rest of the world."

"We could just collapse their governments and hopefully make it so the remainders end up joining the smaller nations?"

Cadence slowly raises her hand amidst the discussion.

"I, uh...think with such large numbers on both sides, our only option is to somehow get the two sides to...destroy each other. IF we can convince both of them that the Deniyans aren't a threat, then maybe they're ignore them completely. If we divide up, we can send half of us to each side and make them believe it would take more resources to go through and to go around and attack each other directly. If they believe us, we could even help instigate the resulting battle. With luck Kuch and Xenio will be gone without stepping foot in Deniya."

"Defending an island from a bunch of wannabe conquering empires? Well, that's right up my alley! I feel for the snail-guys. Now, I'm not averse to a little empire-smashing, but maybe we could make them think somehow that attacking the snails will get them all killed?"

"Yeah! If we can convince them that the Deniyans aren't...yknow, pacifists, then it'll be way easier to get them to go back to fighting each other. And unless we can convince them the country doesn't exist at all, I think that's our best bet to get this world back into the groove."

It was at that moment that Cadence finally felt at home. Planning her attacks, strategizing her moves...oh, it felt AWESOME. And it helped that her music was hitting a strong point during the debate.
