Charlotte nods at Bastion as she climbs on, taking the reins of the bird and being careful to avoid the neck.
"If you could, that would be helpful. Thank you. Please, hold on tightly."
<I will be flying above with one of our own, team. I have acquired one of their flying mounts. I'll scout out for potential issues ahead.>
Assuming Bastion climbs on with her, Charlotte flies to a distance where the soldiers and villagers on the ground can't tell who's on the bird, while flying slightly ahead of her party to scout.
Bastion would climb onto the bird, holding his rifle in one hand and hanging onto something firmly attached to the bird with the other. He would be on the lookout for other flyers.
Frisk, before Charlotte takes off, hops on the back of the bird, small enough to not make a difference. They don't feel comfortable being around... those people. Not all of them, just... a few. They can also do their best to befriend any riders, and maybe they'll get a chance to talk to the anomaly before the others.
Anna follows Frisk.
Once the taming of the bird is complete, Charlotte hops onto the back of the creature, grabbing the reigns and avoiding its neck region at all cost. After her comes Bastion, who slides right behind her, holding the assault rifle in one hand and gripping the edge of the saddle with the other. And then Frisk and Anna hop on; needless to say, the saddle was clearly not designed for four occupants. Charlotte pulls back on the reigns to achieve flight, and the bird spreads its wings and soars upwards for a grand total of five feet or so before plummeting back to the Earth. It hops and flaps its wings to no avail, until it gives up and just starts running along the road, down to the rest of the Cazadores.
"If you would, that would be very kind of you. I am from Drangleic, but I cannot speak for the others."
"I'm Wario, the richest guy in the Mushroom Kingdom!" Wario grins. "Personally, I'm here as a tourist. I hope to meet with your god; if possible, I'd also like to bring back some loo—souvenirs. I didn't bring any cash, but..." Wario pulls a spice jar out of his bag. "I have a selection of rare spices from my world, if you'd like to trade."
"He attempted to attack me. That is why he is in this state. I fear there is only one cure for it- it must be undone by a being of greater power than me. Perhaps your god Solangre may be able to undo the damage, providing he is powerful enough."
"Sorry, sir.", Nix said, hoping this terminology was used by the Kolinquo people.
Feign shame and modesty at my nakedness, attempt to blend in to the Kolinquo crowd. Use Andalite internal clock to sense how much time I have left in my 2 hour morph.
Samson adjusts his tie.
"Our group as a whole are called Los Cazadores."
Westward we go!
Onwards to Victory! Hopefully.
"Drangelic you say?" Topilizin responds to Logan. "Never heard of it. You must tell them of us when you go back."
"Richest in the Mushroom Kingdom? How does one found a kingdom on the back of a poisonous plant?" Topilizin takes a whiff of one of Wario's spice containers, "That's a new scent, and likely a new taste. I have no desire to trade, I did not attain a reputation of shrewdness by exchanging goods and gold for trinkets, but there is a market in the capitol where I have no doubt someone will take an interest in your spices."
Topilizin glances at Twilight Sparkle before asking, "I do however take an interest in your purple burro. I've never seen a purple one before, and it would make for some nice breeding stock. How much do you want for it?"
"Well I can't blame him for attacking you, your very countenance would make a man quiver in his sandals!" He waves his hands as he were a judge dismissing a charge, "I'll let Solangre be the judge of this, He would be the one to know what to do. This mystics and magic business is not to my liking, too much reading involved."
"You should be sorry! Now put some clothes on, you're scaring the women and children." [Blending: Auto-Fail - Naked] Nix attempts to blend in with the other Kolinquo, but none of them are keen on being next to a naked man and they all move away from him when he gets close, children have their eyes shielded by adults.
Nix feels as though he has roughly 1 Hour and 50 Minutes left in his morph.
"Los Cazadores...never heard of them either! But nevermind, my knees are aching from standing in one spot for so long. Let's be off!" Topilizin turns around and his soldiers reorganize, forming their ranks behind the Los Cazadores, which feels like half-escort and half-being-led-at-spearpoint.
They are rejoined by everyone on the bird, who upon rejoining the group immediately runs up to its rider, still under Ulibossk's control. The bird continues to cry to its master, to no response. Topilizin comments on this, "I see you're taking a ride on a Tootalin! Majestic birds, I own several rare specimens myself. I take it you have none back home?"
The Cazadores and their Kolinquo escort find Vi, and absorb her into their group as they head West towards the capitol. Several Tootalin riders encircle the area above.
After fifteen minutes of walking, they enter the limits of the capitol, packed with people and large buildings that would rival that of the modern day. The buildings are composed of a smooth stone, and feature stone windows and doors, with a simple but efficient architectural style, varying anywhere from a single story to three. There are several roads leading into the heart of the city, and the closer they are to the center the more packed it becomes with hordes of people and loaded burros moving in every direction. In the direct center of the town is a statue of Solangre, made of shining gold, glistening under the afternoon sun. Around it were colorful stalls with merchants yelling of their wares, ranging from food to cloth, to weaponry to jewelry and everything in between, this must be the marketplace Topilizin spoke of. Beyond that are several stone pyramids that dwarf the other buildings, which the Administrator elaborates on, "That's where the nobility and the clergy live, including myself and the High Priest. My home, is the one draped with vines and rare plants of course. The High Priest's is the purple one, but besides color it has no decorations, how drab." There is one pyramid at the very end of the city that makes the others appear like molehills, a structure that rises hundreds of feet into the air, it's many steps coated in so much blood that it's visible from the quarter-mile or so away that the Cazadores stand. At the top of it is a flat altar in an open-air room with stone pillars and a hollow ceiling, flanked in the back by a set of massive doors. "Can you guess who lives in there?"
As Topilizin is waiting for his answer, he suddenly furrows his brow and turns to Wario. "Did you say earlier something about your
world? What did you mean by that? Are you tricking me into thinking you are moon-people or some other idiotic myth?"
