bastion would remain hidden as best as he could while trying to keep a sightline on the bird and it's rider. So that he could shoot if needed.

(If it's large enough to carry a human, it needs to be at least half the size of a byplane to offset the extra weight. That's going to be very noticable. The alternative is we all have moon gravity here.)

((Yeah, Bastion is too far away to see the bird or to be aware of it. I noted that Logan and Ulibossk could both see it and they're the only ones so far. Bastion is sneaking away from the group but hasn't indicated that he wants to travel northward/onward yet. Despite the bird's size, it's still too far away, compounded by the fact that the maize stalks are all at least 7 feet tall.))

(Would of thought It would be obvious I wanted to continue north. Nowhere else to reasonably go, after all.)

Yian Garuga stands around, mildly confused why the humans around it were gathering such an... ordinary plant.

It then decides that perhaps doing it's job would be a better idea than pondering the strange quirks of its allies, and charges northwards, where it saw some of the others heading.
