Before Logan leaves, she approaches the Mage and becomes quite invested in his personal space.

"Some day, you will make a mistake. Your mask, your act, will slip. You will become careless. They all do. You will give me a reason. And when that day arrives, because I know it will, I will not hesitate to kill you where you stand.
It doesn't matter to me how long I must wait. I have lived a fairly long time. When you've lived as long as I haven't, you tend to gain patience. Do you understand me, creature?"

Even considering the varied backgrounds of the gathered inter-dimensional warriors, Nix was rather impressed at the potential for dysfunction.  Every team in his experience needed some conflict in the beginning to truly create a unit, but hopefully said conflict wouldn't get any of them killed on their first mission.  Lost in thought, he headed to the loading bay and waited for further instruction.

Ulibossk nods slowly, excited at the prospect of more thralls.

"So, I've been thinking... Since some of us don't want to go immediately to killing, why don't we just... become gods?"
Samson scratches a bit of stuff off of his knife casually.

Anna moves to Frisk.

"...You're not alright...

You're right, though...And I wish I had thought of that before.

Would you like a tissue?"

Anna passes Frisk a tissue.

"So, I've been thinking... Since some of us don't want to go immediately to killing, why don't we just... become gods?"
Samson scratches a bit of stuff off of his knife casually.

"Been there, done that, got the fancy-pants outfit to show for it."

[SOLDIER First]

"Why? What would you do?"

"Well, I'm just thinking, these guys think that the big blue ugly thing is their god. What if we just show up, proclaim him a fake, and do some tricky stuff to make them think we're the gods? I mean, we have the 'magic' and the technology to fake it probably."

[Elephant Parade]

Wario's eyes sparkle. "And if we're gods, we can demand tribute—lots and lots of it!" He grins. "I won't even have to steal anything!"

Samson turns to Wario.
"Well, we have at least two here who would do it."

"We will still need to deal with the root of the problem. How will we get rid of the target?"

"Well, I'm sure the pacifists have an idea."

"Current plan: attempt negotiation. If unsuccessful; attempt intimidation. If unsuccessful; resort to immolation. More data may be required before a more detailed plan is designed."

[SOLDIER First]

"Do what you like, but I won't be lying for your plot."
