Charlotte, who saw the whole thing, is rather.....disquieted and horrified. However, for the mission's sake- albeit a rather quickly disintegrating one- she holds her tongue. It's clear she's still disgusted.

Seeing the now riderless bird, she closes her eyes and walks over to it, reaching out to quiet it down, taking out the corn she had taken earlier as a bait.

Frisk picks themselves up, and realises that they can still help, even if not the citizen directly. They ACT > COMFORT the bird, helping Charlotte in the process of calming it down.

I accept that people may have different ideas to complete the mission, but I believe Cazadores should not interfere with each others business, unless it is a matter of extreme importance. Anyways, all you people with "upstanding" morals are pathetic. The bird-rider probably captured hundreds of innocent people to sacrifice to the blue god. He got what he deserved.

Ulibossk psionicallly orders the bird-rider to follow him, without the bird (but with his bow and arrows if he dropped them). He then walks northwards.
