((ahh the signups happened while I was at school. There goes that plan for renewing interest ;-;))

Zara had arrived at the briefing room rather late, having had trouble A: Finding her way back and B: Figuring out how to use the communicator properly. They don't have things that high tech where she comes from.

"...I don't suppose anyone'd want to swap, would they?"

Johnny taps the newcomer on the shoulder and makes a sweeping gesture to the ship.

((Swapping to side mission.))

Anna scans the crowd on-mission, before settling on Samson.

"...Er..."

Samson pauses.
"Yes?"

Zara hops on after signing on for the main mission, giving the new man a word of thanks as she goes.

Anna looks over at Cadence, still talking to Samson.

"I don't suppose you'd swap out for me?"

Samson looks between the two. Then he smirks.
"What? You got a crush on the Newb?"

Johnny performs a proper, formal bow before disappearing in a cloud of dust.

Unfortunately for Zara, this was performed by placing his hand beneath his mouth as if blowing something from his palm and unleashing a burst of chalk-dust from said palm straight into her face. It also doesn't help that he only moved a few meters away and is still loitering in the room.

Samson looks between the two. Then he smirks.
"What? You got a crush on the Newb?"

"I-- I don't-- What?!  And her name is Cadence!"

Samson smirks more.
"Yes, you have a crush on Cadence the newb... Alright, I'll let you go then!"
Samson hops out of the shuttle and fucks off.

Anna seats herself next to Cadence.

"Eh, hello again."

Cadence kinda didn't notice the whole exchange between Samson and Anna thanks to her sweet tunes. What does get her attention is Anna sitting down next to her.

"YES! How did you manage to get on?! What happened?"

She doesn't mask her excitement well, and it's very clear how happy she is to have a familiar face on the mission with her.

((Hey so, isn't there one extra space left? Three people have swapped out, and two new people have joined. Nobody has taken Wario's place yet, and I know Ramona wanted to hop in earlier.))

Hey, whatcha listening to?"

There's an undercurrent of relief, excitement, happiness, some positive emotion.
