Raws Needed For World Generation

What are the absolute minimum raws needed to successfully generate a functioning world? Like, if I were to rip out every raw except the ones I needed to generate a world, what would I have left?

Take a look at the starting point for one of the iterations of the DF from Scratch project, they usually start from the minimum.

I wanted to do a from-scratch mod and wanted to get rid of clutter.

I believe you need the raws for one type of rock, and one type of soil.

You may also need material templates. Do some tests, and do tell us the results.

In older versions, I've had crashes if there aren't any shields. It seems that it was hardcoded that bandits had to have them.

You don't actually need a soil, just a stone.
I think it causes a crash if you ever hover over an ocean or go to an ocean because there has to be soil under the water.
