The grin widens and BE wraps Syd into a hug.
It's... actually pretty nice, giant scary lizard nonwithstanding.

"Ok that's enough time to prep for classes" Syd hops out of the hug and grabs his school supplies

BE holds him and sobs lets him go, and simply sits on the bed.

Beside Lao Shan was... nothing. Or so it seemed at first; he heard a light tapping on the ground next to him, and so it was, Kevin was hopping up and down 'trying' to see the stage amidst the crowd, the poor 1' lizard not doing so hot in the height game. He was blue, clearly, wearing some basic casual clothes including a small pair of gym shorts probably stolen from a John Cena action figure as well as a random white tee shirt - no need to wear armor everywhere you go, after all.

Lao Shan hears the tapping, and, upon seeing the incredibly short lizard, turns around and squats down.
"...do you require assistance?"

"O-oh, yes please!" he asked as he jumped up towards Lao.

Lao Shan nods. He lifts Kevin and presumably places him on his shoulders or somesuch. Whichever spot Kevin found most agreeable.
Afterwards, he turns back to whatever it is the four Rankers are standing on, and continues to wait for the speech.

"Thanks, dude. Bein' short isn't easy," he said, staring out to the rankers as he listened to their speech; after it was done, the short lizard dude glanced over to Lao, tilting his head as he spoke,  "I'm, uh, Kevin. You new too?"

Léa is troubled to find no specific dorm-room listed for her, and looks for someone to assist her.

If she were to look through the dorm area, she might see an open door with a giant lizard sitting on a bed inside.

She does indeed wander through the dorm area, but passes the open door in search of her own dorm. The lizard may hear her muttering to herself about something or other.

Mr. Lizard exits the room, notepad at the ready, and follows her.

She notices him and smiles, lifting her fangs. "Oh. Hello there! You wouldn't happen to know where my dorm issss, would you? It wassn't lissted anywhere..."

[SOLDIER First]

The lizard gingerly sets down his items and signs at her.
