"Hmm, well, why do you think we distinguish between the two?"

Kyle.... [11] Finds only a few entries, most of which are listed as Missing or Rogue.

Kyle checks them out. No reason not to after. Maybe he can copy stuff from them.

Of the missing and rogues, he finds two that aren't using tech to grant them power. The first was named Maryellen the Indomitable Wall, who had the power to negate any and all physical trauma that came at her. The second was Crypt Tyrant, a madman who had traded his soul for immortality. His power seemed more about putting himself back together rather than resist or negate damage.

"Hmm, well, why do you think we distinguish between the two?"

"Knowing what I know, I don't know, which is why I asked you.  If it's about control, knowledge, strength, stealth, training those factors, I don't see why it could possibly merit an arbitrary hero/villain distinction."

[SOLDIER First]

"Hero or villain?" he asked, crossing his arms and staring up at him.

BE grins broadly.

Kyle shrugs and opens the profile on the first one. No reason not to.

"Heh, guess you're not so bad after all. Sure."

[SOLDIER First]

{Okay. I'm glad.}

BE leans forward, still taller than Kevin sitting down.

Daedalus smiles, "Then you have some homework to do. Think about that question and come see me when you discover an answer. Okay? I have work to attend to, so see you students later." Daedalus waves to the three and departs, heading down the hall the opposite to the group.

The profile Kyle looks upon shows that Maryellen had the power to harden her skin to the toughness thousands of times stronger than diamond, and could withstand any physical assault thrown at her. Her most notable ability, however, was the power to adapt to any damage that would hit her, effectively reducing the same kind of damage for a short time. She earned her nickname when an alien life form attacked and nearly devoured Polike City back some ten years ago. When the alien attacked, Maryellen stood between it and the city, forcing the enemy to attack her and only her for an entire three months, before the alien finally tired and died of exhaustion. When asked about how she could keep standing after three months, Maryellen simply stated that even time, hunger, and physical strain were no match for her indomitable spirit.
