Sorry for making you listen to music, I hate it when people do that to me. But I am curious.

Yes. Or at least I can.

We are currently three turns in, and the main hall is coated in blood, intestines and random corpses. There's a huge pile of 3000 items made of human body parts in a corner and remaining members of the staff of the museum are, as I type this, being slowly choked to death by one of our adventurers.

For the most part, I can't. Don't know why, but I have never been very good with understanding vocals.

Only about one word in three.  Not enough to really follow the plot.  I've always been a bit bad at hearing lyrics, though.

I can understand the words if I concentrate. But (as in normal for lyrics for me.) it's hard for me to make them coherent.

It's difficult whenever Mercury's singing in falsetto, or in harmony with someone else. Otherwise not too hard. It might be a different story if I'd heard the song before. Why do you ask?

Based on the title, I was really expecting something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VsmF9m_Nt8

Probably ~60% if I'm not paying close attention. Definitely not the easiest of his performances to understand. Compare it to... pretty much anything from Ziggy Stardust.

Yes but it's not the easiest, the lyrics flow takes president over being easy to understand.

I caught maybe one word out of every couple lines. Very difficult to understand, but I think that might be the potato sound quality.

This non-native speaker caught a lot of it in the beginning but less and less as it went on. I agree with previous posters that it's the hardest to hear when he sings in falsetto, or when he switches from it to normallo singing.

Well... It isn't like they aren't mumbling their lines, have thick accents, are using outdated/foreign jargon.

It took me a while to catch onto what they were saying because mostly what they were saying made little sense to me at first... until I caught onto the theme.

But I am not sure this song would exactly be the test to see if you learned English well enough.
