Description: Yuji is very tall for a teen at about six feet and built pretty heftily. His hair is dark and long except his bangs, which don't exist, while his eyes are a pale gray. He has a short goatee stretching to either side of his jaw. Bandages cover the knuckles of both hands and some of his face, owing from his many fights.
Personality: One word to describe Yuji is
upbeat. You really just can't bring this guy down. Unless you can beat him in a fight, of course, since he loves to fight. It just gives him a
rush he can't get from anything else. Yuji doesn't even mind losing, as long as it follows his three F's: Fast, Fair, Fun.
Backstory: Yuji had a pretty great upbringing, all things considered. His parents are good people, he has a cool older sister who hangs out with him all the time, and he doesn't have any big emotional problems. His only real issue is how much he fights.
His near-obsession with the activity started his last year of middle school one day after school. Yuji stayed after to help a teacher with something when he saw another kid in his year leering over some younger kid. He stood watching, disgusted, until the bully shoved the younger kid against a locker. He approached and shoved him back, the bully threw a punch, Yuji saw red and before he knew it, the bully was being carted to the nurse and
he was dragged to the office. He didn't tell anybody, not even his sister, that he loved
every second of it.From that point on, Yuji fought whenever he could. He got physical with bullies, he joined the fighting club, he even challenged the big bad school delinquents... and won. A common sight in any school he attended was some teacher, exasperatedly marching a bloodied, grinning Yuji to the headmaster's.
This reputation got him into a bit of trouble(?) involving the local rich girl, Kanade. Apparently the
hottest rumor is that Yuji is her devoted boyfriend and he'll pound anyone who so much as looks at Kanade into paste.
No matter how much he protests, explains, or pleads, the only person in school who believes him is Kanade herself.
