Dark Aether has a poisonous atmosphere. Light crystals project a field around them which stabilize that atmosphere and make it livable. Most need to be charged up first.

oh, well, the atmosphere is not the problem, mostly because i didn't know there was a poisonous atmosphere.

My Knowledge of the Ing:
Shadowy, dark cloud-beings which infect creatures and machines and make them nom things. They have a Patriarchy, obeying the Emperor Ing, but are really driven by Dark Samus.

And that's it. Nothing more :L.

Sooo.... energize a crystal and sleep in it?
